“Mexico––experience report by a supplier” was the title of Dr Thorsten Gaitzsch’s presentation at the Mexico Day. The interest was high. Many Mexican faces were among the audience. Thanks to simultaneuos interpreters they could perfectly follow the explanations by Dr Gaitzsch and other speakers.
Mexico’s significance as one of the most important locations worldwide for automobile manufacturers and suppliers is soaring and will continue to increase. All German OEMs and a huge amount of suppliers already operate in the country. More than 170 members of the Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) operate in Mexico with own locations.
