“Consistently Customer, Consistently Electric, Consistently Audi,” words all stated by Bram Schot, Chairman of the Audi Board of Management and opener to the Audi IAA press conference. Consistently was the theme to the press conference for Audi. He was not shy to proudly state that Audi is transforming and changing as a brand but at their core, is a commitment to be consistent.
With one of the youngest vehicle line-ups on display at IAA 2019, Audi believes the proof of their prowess is in their vehicle portfolio. Audi’s world premieres included: the new Audi RS7 fully electric beauty, and the AI:TRAIL concept car which is an electric off-road vehicle. Audi wants to introduce a car fit for all types of drives – city, racing, practical, off-road – without sacrificing the beauty that is driving Audi luxury. The goal is to achieve dreams and their needs – this is what will drive the designs of tomorrow at Audi.
In addition to the world premiere of the RS7 and AI:TRAIL, Audi gave a 30-sec sneak-peak of the etron sportsback (it is set for debut at the LA Auto show later this year). We also got to see an onstage demonstration of the etron Scooter by Hildegard Wortmann, Member of the Audi Board of Management for Sales and Marketing.
