Base camp Freisinger Hof
A big thank you goes to our hotel Freisinger Hof in Munich. We felt completely at home there. Friendly staff, excellent service and a delicious dinner in the beer garden were the perfect basis for a fit start to the next day at the fair.
Trade show under Corona conditions – What was different?
This year, the IAA is different not only because of the new location and concept – as one of the first larger trade shows after the Corona Lockdown, all exhibitors were equally challenged by completely new conditions. Nevertheless, we are grateful that the exhibition could take place – thanks to compliance with the very strict hygiene measures.
Also on our own booth we did everything for the safety of our team and our guests with the help of various arrangements.
Much more than just cars
Whether in the exhibition halls or in the extended Open Space – bicycles can once again be seen and ridden frequently at this year’s IAA.
Oscar-worthy: our IAA Film
This year, we once again put our crash test dummy – also affectionately known as “Crashi” – in the limelight. But he wasn’t the only one who showed great acting talent. Our colleagues Maria, Christian and Phil also played their roles convincingly well.

Off to the hotel – one last time
Today is the last night in the hotel for us. Tomorrow, the IAA will close its doors to visitors at 5 pm. Part of our team will then assist in the deconstruction of the stand by our booth builder.
Commuting with the Blue Lane
To connect the trade fair center and the Open Space in downtown Munich, there is the Blue Lane. Here, both areas can be reached via test drives in new electric cars and new models can be tested at the same time.
IAA goes green
At the new IAA, the topics of sustainability and climate protection are moving strongly into the foreground. Both in the exhibition halls and in the city center, you can hardly get past the color green this year.
VIP & Co.
We were able to hold good discussions with high-ranking representatives of our customers already during the first days of the fair. Purchasing and development managers from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche and Stellantis were impressed by our innovative body solutions. Because we ensure that vehicle occupants are optimally protected in the event of an accident.
Many guests from politics and business, such as the Federal Minister of Labour, Hubertus Heil, the Deputy Prime Minister of Saarland, Anke Rehlinger, and Member of the German Bundestag, Dr Matthias Heider, were also informed about our company during a tour of the stand. Today we are still expecting the State Secretary Christoph Dammersmann and the BDA Chief Executive Steffen Kampeter.
